Youth Ministry Equipping School covers topics including New Evangelisation – Leadership – Youth Ministry Skills – Mission – Spiritual Disciplines – CSYMA Vision and Focus Areas
In 2017, the Youth Ministry Equipping School will be conducted by Catholic Schools Youth Ministry Australia (CSYMA) in partnership with the Asia-Pacific School of Evangelisation, the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn and the Australian Catholic University. These partnerships offer dynamic opportunities for youth evangelisation and the development of formation pathways in Catholic schools and Church communities.
The Youth Ministry Equipping School has the following aims:
1 ) To gather young adults, forming them in Catholic faith and equipping them for the work of evangelisation.
2 ) To send people out on mission throughout the Asia-Pacific.
3 ) To give people a rich experience of Christian community and to help them learn how community is a means of evangelisation.
4 ) To nurture and develop youth leadership in the Catholic Church.
